I DON'T BELIEVE IN KARMA

I don't believe in Karma. Sure, I believe that for every action, a reaction must occur. What goes up must come down. But Karma? I believe evil people die happy, without consequence, all the time. That's thew whole point of life. Life isn't fair. It is what you make of it. That's the whole point of forgiveness. Why should anyone forgive if the cosmic universe is just going to "settle the score" on its own?
The reason we forgive is because life isn't fair. And when life has us in a chock hold, you won't be served justice. You won't be liberated. You must liberate yourself and those who harmed you. There's no need for Karma if you know how to forgive. In fact, I believe forgiveness is the ultimate karma. To forgive is a blessing upon yourself. It's one of the best gifts you can give yourself.
To forgive is to let go of pain and sorrow. I don't think Karma can do that. Jesus knew what he was talking about. "Love your enemy. Pray for those who mistreat you". That's the ultimate blessing. Peace. Peace of mind and the heart.
And what about good Karma? Why do we do good deeds? So that Krishna can bless us 10 fold? Isn't that selfish ulterior motive? We must not do good deeds because we expect good Karma, we must do it because we have it in our hearts to do good and not expect anything in return. That's, ironically, the best Karma. To have a pure heart just for the sake of it. So no, I don't believe in Karma. That isn't compatible with how life works. Shit happens. How will you react? THAT'S what determines you Karma. Your reaction. An eye for an eye?

The pain will still be there, I promise.
Forgive.
To forgive is to set yourself free.
Of pain.
Of misery.
Of sorrow.
Show the universe how strong your heart is.

That is the ultimate Karma.
